        Welcome to Tianhua's Faculty Professional Development Center (TFDC)/ TFDC focuses on Boyer's new paradigm of four equal scholarships: the scholarship of teaching (meaning the transfer and extending of knowledge), the scholarship of discovery (which is the pursuit of knowledge), the scholarship of application (meaning the application of one's academic expertise), and the scholarship of integration (which is the ability to connect one's knowledge into larger patterns and contexts). TFDC is commited to enhancing our teachers' personal and professional development, along with their organizational and teaching abilities.
